Musculoskeletal disorders constitute a major health problem to our society. Lifetime prevalence rates of low back pain up to 85-90% have been reported (Von Korff et al. 1988, Frymoyer & CatzBaril 1991), and the annual incidence rate for low back pain is estimated to be around 1-5% (Frymoyer & Catz-Baril 1991, Hashemi et al. 1997).
